for every project we do credit points will be awarded based on the difficulty of the project level.
for every easy projects our college gets 5 credit points
for every medium projects our college gets 10 credit points
for every hard projects our college gets 15 to 30 credit points
PROJECTS INVOLVED IN THIS CARBON CREDIT RACE :
EASY PROJECTS:
§ Build a Google SMS channel for your campus CCR team with 100 members (Students,faculty) registered in it. Ask students, faculty of your college to join it.
§ Proof: send your SMS channel link.
SOCIAL NETWORK WITH 250 MEMBERS:
§ Build Social Media pages or groups of your Campus CCR team on Social Networks like Face book, twitter, google groups, yahoo groups etc with 250 members (Students,faculty) registered in it.
§ Proof: Send your Group account link
§ At least Two Local newspapers should report your CCR program. Scan the article with your college name highlighted.
§ Proof: scanned copy or PDF of your article in two papers.
§ Get a localTV channel to report your CCR program. Procure the video of the clip on the channel
§ Proof: send link of video uploaded on YouTube.
START A CARBON CREDIT CLUB:
§ Start a Carbon Credit Club by forming a team of 2 or more members. Download Application from Resources Page
§ Proof: application form in PDF format and scan copy of the identity cards of the members
§ Conduct an event or a program to
§ create awareness on the local species which are endangered or almost nearing extinction in your college or locality.
§ Proof: Send the information collected about the endangered species and also photos of the event.
SETUP A CCR TABLE ON CAMPUS:
§ Setup a table in your campus with information regarding the Carbon Credit Race and ask students to register and join the race.
§ Proof: Picture of the table with Race material and excel sheet with details of registered students in it
START ENVIRONMENT FILM CLUB:
§ Take permission from your management to start a Film club related to Sustainable development and climate change in your campus and collect the contact details and feedback from the students who attend the film screening. Choose a film club president who will be the point of contact to manage films database.
§ Proof: Take a video of the spectators watching the film and the screen while the movie is being screened. Upload on YouTube and send the video link.
§ Speak to students of all classes on your campusregarding the race and recruit students.
§ Proof: Take a video of the speech, upload in Youtube and send the link
§ Organize a college debate/ discussion in your college regarding the basic issues like climate change, sustainability, peaking of resources.

o REPLACE CFL’S IN COMMUNITY:
§ Adopt a nearby village/community and replace all incandescent bulbs with CFL bulbs. Submit the report to local media and other organizations. Every village adopted will fetch 20 points each.

o CLIMATE CHANGA AWARENESS TALK:
§ Organise a talk or an event in the village you adopted on “climate change” or “sustainable development” or “green economy” or all of the above.

§ Team will get more 30 points if they ban Soft drinks in their campus.
